サー・ジョン・ソーンズ・ミュージアム
ロンドンにきたら必ずよってほしい美術館。
イングランド銀行の設計で知られる建築家 ジョン・ソーン卿の自宅。
以前、世界ふしぎ発見でも紹介されていましたね。
彼が収集したヨーロッパやエジプトの骨董品が
見事に室内空間にちりばめられている。
たくさんの絵画を収納するためにつくられた二重扉も面白い。
毎月第一火曜の夜はキャンドルナイト。
場所：13 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3BP
(Holborn Tube Station on the Central Line)
時間：10:00～17:00 *毎月第一火曜日は21:00まで
休館：日・月曜
